
I realize this is old news, but we made it to Florida. Bear with me as I bring you up to speed.

“Human space exploration helps to address fundamental questions about our place in the Universe and the history of our solar system,” NASA writes on their website. At the Houston Space Center we examined some of the research into those questions – and contemplated whether or not we really want to face the answers.

One of the best excursions on our journey was the trek down into Carlsbad Caverns. In case you were wondering, it is worth going out of your way to see.

Our trip took us through New Mexico, where we shared meals with an old friend, drove through vast stretches of empty landscapes and encountered pink and green extraterrestrials.
